Phase I Green - Zero to low COVID-19 cases in the building(s). No confirmed COVID-19 cases up to a maximum of 1% of students and staff.

Phase II Orange - Active cases in the building(s) between 1-3% of building enrollment including students and staff.

Phase III Red - Active cases in the building(s) greater than 3% of enrollment including students and staff.

Meade County is no longer listed by the Department of Health as having substantial community spread of COVID-19. 

 

Symptoms:
1. Temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher when taken by mouth. 
2. Sore throat.
3. New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing. (For students with chronic allergic/asthmatic cough, a change in their cough from baseline.)
4. Diarrhea, vomiting or abdominal pain. 
5. New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever. 
The only option for your child to return to school within the 24 hours is with a negative COVID-19 test or a note from their Dr. with an alternative diagnosis.
