What is the purpose of the Homeschool Connection Program?
The Homeschool Connection Program is dedicated to serving the students and families residing in Meade School District 46-1, offering flexible enrollment options for Kindergarten - 8th grade only that range from part-time to full-time online, as well as the opportunity for partial in-person enrollment. In a move to broaden its outreach, Meade 46-1 is enhancing its support for homeschool families, enabling them to opt for their children's participation in our programs.
Who is eligible?
Admittance to the program will follow a first-come, first-served approach, with enrollment limited to 30 full-time equivalent enrollment. Factors such as capacity, student attendance, and history of student success will be considered when assessing eligibility during the enrollment process.
Eligibility criteria includes:
Residents of the Meade School District 46-1 are eligible to enroll their child (Kindergarten - 8th grade) within the Homeschool Connection Program.
Students from outside the district who open enrolled into the Meade School District 46-1 must have maintained enrollment for a minimum of two years prior.
