SD School for the Deaf Hearing Schedules
The South Dakota School for the Deaf performs routine hearing screenings on kindergarteners, third and fifth graders each year in Meade School District. The dates for their visits this year are:
Sturgis Elementary and Sturgis Williams Middle School: March 21 and March 22, 2023
Piedmont Valley Elementary and Stagebarn Middle School: April 4 and April 5, 2023
Whitewood Elementary: March 23, 2023
Please contact your child's school prior to the date of screening if you would like your child to opt out of the hearing screening. If we do not receive and opt out request, your child will be screened on the scheduled date at their school.
