Welcome to Piedmont Valley Elementary School!
Piedmont Valley Elementary, which began at its inception in the fall of 2011, serves 521 students from pre-school through 4th grade. Our school strives to help students find individual success within a supportive environment that supports the success of the whole child.
Instruction supports traditional content such as English / Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and Reading. In addition, we offer “specials” classes which include Music, Physical Education, Computers, Dream Box / Lexia, Library, Art, and Counseling. In an effort to support all areas of interest, we also offer a Talented and Gifted program, as well as numerous extra-curricular activities through the Sturgis Area Community Center.
We are honored to support our many families that are associated with the United States Military. We are proud to recognize their service to our great country and acknowledge the sacrifices made by many to our nation.
As you join our great school, know that you a part of a school and community that values education, creativity, and each individual student’s unique contributions to our school body. Together, we can accomplish great things!
Welcome to a school that will support you and your child as well as a place that will go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed.
If you have any questions please contact the Piedmont Valley Elementary Office at (605)787-5295 or email the school liaison, Sarah Lyons.
Sincerely,
