route

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I apologize for all the beginning of the year growing pains we experienced last week! For those of you who I have not responded to for registration forms, we are accepting everyone who rides the bus. I am currently driving a route and apologize for not getting to your emails as soon as planned. Please understand that we are doing our best to respond to everyone and are looking for a more effective way to do this next year!

We have currently had quite a few time adjustments and route changes since the open houses. Attached is a complete list of the routes with all the changes highlighted and explanations of the changes have been written in blue pen. If we have removed stops, drivers have been told to look at those stops for students as we make our adjustments. Almost every route has some changes so please look for your route. Also, at the bottom of each route sheet has information on transfer buses. We will be doing role call on the buses for the next week, which may cause the routes to be late. Please have the students who ride occasionally ride at least once next week so we know where we have students!

Please pay special attention to which bus your high schooler needs to get on to ride to the high school and inform them please. We will be enforcing high schoolers to ride the appropriate bus to Sturgis Williams Middle School so that we know where these students are always.

If you are wondering where your closest stop is, please use google maps to find it. This will be much faster than waiting for me to reply to your email. All buses are marked with specific school ages if there are restrictions on them and the drivers will also help them get to the correct bus (ES- Elementary, MS-Middle School, HS-High School).  All stops are currently set for the year.

I will be sending emails with changes every Friday or Saturday to continually communicate what is going on with route changes. We appreciate your time and patience as we iron out the changes we made with registration this year.

I hope you all have a great holiday weekend,

Kelli Ann Werlinger
