The talents of Sturgis Brown High School students will be on full display during a special evening of art and music on Monday, December 15, at 7:00 p.m. in the West Gym Lobby.

Before and after the annual Band and Choir Winter Concert, guests are invited to enjoy the Senior Art Show, which will showcase a variety of creative works by the school’s graduating art students. Senior Art Show
Sturgis Brown High School is excited to announce this year’s Snow Ball Dance, taking place on Friday, December 12! The dance will run from 8:00 to 10:00 PM in the East Gym. Doors open at 8:00 PM and will close promptly at 8:30 PM—no late entries will be allowed, so make sure to arrive on time.

Students are reminded that the dress code for the evening is semi-formal. That means dress shirts, no holes in jeans. Please remember that this is a school event—attire should be school appropriate.

If you plan to bring an out-of-town guest, you must complete a permission form, available in the front office. These forms must be filled out and returned prior to the dance to ensure all guests are approved.

SBHS SNOW BALL DANCE
On November 18, Megan Ball from Western Dakota Tech visited Sturgis Brown High School to present the various opportunities available in their Lab Tech Program. Following her presentation, students were able to participate in hands-on activities, including drawing blood from an artificial arm, conducting a urinalysis using simulated urine, examining bacteria on prepared slides, and exploring how blood types are determined with simulated blood. The event was hosted by the Sturgis Brown High School Science Club.
