Congratulations to SBHS senior, Aiden Werlinger, he will be signing his National Letter of Intent to attend South Dakota Tech to play football. The signing will take place at 3:30 pm tomorrow, Wednesday February 7th in the West gym commons area.

Nominations for Teacher of the Year and Prof/Technical Support Staff of the Year for 2024-25 are now being accepted. Nomination forms are located at www.meade.k12.sd.us>Employee Information>Forms. All nominations must be received by Friday, Feb 9 to the building principal.
A school board meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 8, 2024 at 5:30 pm. The agenda has been posted to Quorum for your viewing.
State Wrestling tickets will go on sale starting Thurs, Jan 4 at the home dual with Thunder Basin and the SBHS Activities office. (605) 347-4487.
The tournament will be held at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls Feb 22-24.

Sturgis Brown High School is exploring the possibility of a 5x3 trimester schedule change. We would like to give you more information about this type of schedule and also hear what you think about this possibility. Presentations are scheduled for SWMS 8th graders on Tuesday, Oct 31 and Stagebarn MS 8th graders on Wednesday, Nov 1.
Parent/Guardian presentations are scheduled for the following dates and locations:
Thursday, Nov 2 at Sturgis Brown High School - West Gym @ 6:30 pm.
Monday, Nov 6 at Stagebarn Middle School @ 6:30 pm.
Tuesday, Nov 7 at Sturgis Williams Middle School @ 6:30 pm.
Please attend whatever presentation works best for you. An email with a survey link will also be sent out so that we can hear your thoughts on a possible 5x3 trimester schedule.
